2021 NACD Gold Award Winner: Abercrombie & Fitch

Although The National Association of Container Distributors convention was cancelled for 2021 due to COVID-19, Kaufman Container was still recognized for winning 2 prestigious awards. One of the award-winning packages includes the fragrance line designed for Abercrombie & Fitch. We are honored to announce that this package took home the Gold in the Personal Care category.

The Abercrombie & Fitch Kids Play & Life fragrance collection was a very enjoyable project to work on. With so many custom packaging components involved, it was crucial for us to keep the project on schedule. The entire package was sourced by Kaufman Container including the custom 1.7 oz Flint glass bottles, the custom closures, pumps from overseas, custom outer cartons and liners. All of the components were shipped to our warehouse where they were stocked and held for releases to send to the contract filler.

In addition to supplying the packaging, we were able to screen print these containers in-house, which helped move the project along and ensured excellent printing quality. The most eye appealing feature of this package is the custom Rose Gold and matte Black closures. Not only does the closure serve the purpose of sealing the package and protecting the pump from releasing product, but it also builds off the core logo of the Abercrombie & Fitch Kids line. It is truly the focal point of the package that draws in the youth targeted by the brand. The product is doing extremely well and has helped generate revenue for Abercrombie during a very challenging year.
