Description:
Essential Functions
- Assist in the installation, repair and overhaul of production, support and shop equipment.
- Troubleshooting of equipment malfunctions.
- Perform and document preventative maintenance of assigned equipment.
- Assist in the changeover of production equipment in response to customer’s schedules.
- Assist in the design, construction and modification of equipment and tooling to improve safety, quality and productivity.
Additional Responsibilities
- Special projects as assigned.
- Basic building maintenance.
- Purchase replacement parts for machines and workshop if necessary, with the approval of the Production Manager.
Qualifications
- Exceptional organizational skills
- High School or Vocational School Diploma
- Must be able to set up and proficiently use common shop metal and wood working tools and equipment
- Self-motivated, work independently
- Computer literate or trainable
- PLC and electrical experience a plus
- Metal, acrylic and wood fabrication
- Able to work overtime and Saturdays
