Package of the 1st Quarter 2009

Kaufman Container would like to congratulate the sales team of Diana Boyle and Marcia Davis for their hard work on our first winner of 2009's Package of the Quarter competition. The package that received the most votes by our employees goes to the Neil George Salon hair care line, which consists of three items including a volumizing spray, detangler and treatment oil. Neil George is an upscale Beverly Hills salon that wanted to add new items to their existing line, which focuses on innovative products that perform well while addressing the everyday hair care issues of women.

The packaging for these new items needed to be modern and simple in appearance but also easy to use - with sprayers that dispensed exactly the right amount of product and a pump which made for a simple, easy, no-mess application. Visibility of the product was also important, so a frosted glass and clear PET bottles were used to house the product. Neil George then incorporated their logo through screen printing - done in-house at Kaufman Container's facilities - which kept with the upscale but clean look and feel of the line.

Kaufman Container was essential in helping achieve the end result for the Neil George line, starting at the early stages by sourcing a variety of shapes and sizes for the bottles with an array of components to choose from. Providing numerous options while still meeting small volume requirements was another key to the line's success, and Kaufman Container was able to help this small prestige brand achieve the look they strived for. Everything from color matching to coordinating the perfect dispensing closures were essential to the overall success of the Neil George line.
